Rastasafari ATV with River Swim & Lunch

About this experience

Rastasafari Experience runs this from a base near Roaring River, a village in Westmoreland about 75 minutes from Montego Bay by road. Guests report longer: one wrote "add 3 hours to the tour time", another called it almost two hours. Your first guide shows you the area, coffee being roasted and a fresh juice; then the ATV guide takes over.

The ride goes through forest, fields and farm tracks you would not find on your own, with a stop to swim in a natural mineral pool, a visit to a ganja field and fruit picked from the trees. Back at base there's a fresh-cooked lunch made with market produce. Several guests mention it was vegan and liked it anyway.

It has the joint-highest rating on this site, 4.9 from 2,051 reviews, level with the small-group safari. The catch is time: the activity is 2 to 3 hours, the road trip adds 2.5 or more. A valid driving licence is required to drive; one 83-year-old guest was given a driver.

★★★★★

The tour was amazing, we stoped at the lake and was able to swim in the nature spring water with the locals, the food at the end was so good and didn't even know it was a vegan dish. Our driver was Junior and he was amazing as well, he picked us up and took us back. Highlight of my trip!!

Amazing ATV tour, we had the best time!!! From our driver Owen to our tour guides Niko & Calloway, it was a 10/10 experience. We learned so much about the area and the culture.

It was great I loved learning about the Rasta community and driving around in the ATV. Because of my age (83) I was given a driver, Dino who was delightful! Everyone was so friendly.

It takes almost two hours drive to get to the destination but I promise it's worth it. [...] Our favorite part of this tour was the fact that we were able to meet the locals and vibe with them.
